We want to publically thank Officer Peterson from the Corvallis Police Department for doing an outstanding presentation regarding safety in  Corvallis.   She was very informative, friendly and she has a great sense of humor.

Cu-dos to the Corvallis Police Department.

Howdy Y™all –  I know what you are thinking.   It is HOT outside.   But now we are in the record books.   We can say that we remember when¦ it was the hottest day on record¦.   My parents live in  Texas and they are in one of the worst droughts on record.   But there is a radio announcer who reminds everyone that œthey are now one day closer to rain.   There is also a billboard in  Albany that said, œlook on the bright side.   90% of us are employed.   Don™t you like to be around those people?   The ones who keep you focused on what is good instead of what is bad?

With the heat, I have been a bit more diligent on watering the plants outside.    The watering has awoken a once thought dead rose bush that had been eaten by our wonderful deer friends.   And there was a beautiful pure red rose blossoming.   Just a little bit of water and life was restored.   How cool is that?   So I have to ask myself, œWhat am I watering so it can grow?   Make sure you water those you love.

With the negative press on the real estate market, banks failing and local layoffs, a person might think this is a terrible time to pursue real estate as a career.

However, I say it is a great time to get your license, if you have the discipline devoted to doing what you n eed to do.   For more information visit… OregonRealEstateCareers.com.
